  13. ABOUT THE LASERWRITER 8 PATCH

  15. This patch will make alterations to Apple's LaserWriter 8.3 (or LW8.2.2f) printer driver to increase its ease of use.  Changes include:
  16.      ‚Ä¢ Allowing a printer description file to be selected when no printers are
  17.         currently on‚Äìline.
  18.      ‚Ä¢ Placing a "Layout" menu in the Print dialog box, allowing "n‚Äìup" printing
  19.         to be selected without going to "Page Setup."
  20.      ‚Ä¢ Adding 6, 8, 9, and 16 Up choices to the Layout menu for maximum
  21.         flexibility.

Included in this package are three sets of patch utilities: one for the "plain-vanilla" LW8.3 driver (in the Normal Version folder), one for the "plain-vanilla" LW8.2.2 driver (in the Old Normal Version folder), and one for the fax-capable LW8.2.2f version (in the LW Fax Version folder). Make sure you use the version that's appropriate for your driver!
